Sterling Silver Glass Condiment Pot by Lee & Wigfull, Sheffield, 1880. Antiquarian BooksAn unusually tall and substantial sterling silver topped cut glass condiment pot, hallmarked for Henry Wigfull, Sheffield, 1880 together with a duty stamp. The hallmarks are rubbed, particularly the maker's mark, but 'HW' is just visible using a jeweller's loupe. The pot has a cut out to the lid for a spoon and a lovely circular cut glass design which gives a bubble effect. The silver shows some tarnish in places, however the glass remains in an

mounted in brass filigree surrounds with a jewel set to each long edge

The cabinet has some wear to the wood in places with some slight cracking to the wood evident near the top left door hinge and the lower drawer is missing its lock

There are two small dings to the piece
