The homestead is one of my favorites, featuring in several of my photographs, and on this evening the conditions were the best I've ever seen to shoot a young moon as the sun set. Spiraling clouds lit up with shades of red, salmon, orange, and gold, adding the perfect background to this house on a high hill in the middle of Montana's prairie.
