Michael Gindl 'Michi's Farm White' 2023 objectsMichael Gindl is one of the few natural winemakers in the Weinviertel, the northeastern Austrian subregion that's as close to Bratislava in Slovakia as it is to Vienna. It's a wide, flat, open region dedicated to agriculture over anything else; Gindl's farm has been in his family since the beginning of the 19th century. This is a fresh, bright skin contact white wine, based off of Grner but with very, very aromatic Gelber Muskateller and Riesling

with no added pesticides

in addition to old vines trained in the ancient Roman gobelet style: all of these combine with the many local white varieties the Andrieu family makes into this ephemeral cuvée (it isn't produced every year)

know for its uniquely robust and complex flavor
