G&M CC Upper Balmenach 1987 70cls ABV: 51% Longrow SpringbankG&M Tasting Notes Nose: Stewed pear & apple aromas are complimented by baked crumble topping, rich fruitcake notes develope to give way to autumnal spices with traces of fresh ginger. Palate: Mouth warming black pepper, leading to flavours of dark chocolate and forest fruits, brown sugar comes to the fore alongside sulatanas and a hint of orange. Finish: A meduim bodied finish, with gentle almonds & subtle tobacco. Bottle: 70cls ABV: 51%

Pleasantly sweet with a rich

PALATE: Initially slightly peppery with ripe summer fruits flavours

Freshly crushed vanilla pods and a good hint of warm oak

toasted vanilla pods and some drying oak too

and tobacco flavours

damp ferns and lingering lime zest

red apples and the sharp edge of kiwi fruit

NOSE: Fruit salad

FINISH: Brazil nut skin

washing over the palate in waves

PALATE: Warming with subtle spices
