Domaine De La Cune Saumur-Champigny 1999 VINTAGE WINES 2000This red wine appellation of Saumur in the central Loire Valley is known for there Cabinet Franc based wines. Appellation laws permit a little Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend, but this is seldom used. A moderately good vintage for the region. Typical blend, Cabernet Franc. 75cl bottle. Abv 12. 5% Bottle condition capsule good, label good, wine level a little below the cork.

Although not labeled as one Les Chaponnieres is a premier cru vineyard and more recent vintages have been labeled as such

It was taken over in 1994 by a French investment firm who retained the successful wine making team
