1970’s Littlemill ( Dunglass) 5 year old 5cl ObanThis is an un open, an appears to be a 5cl fill level Dunglass 5 yo (40%, OB, Barton brands, 1970s) This one was made by the same owners as Littlemill's, yet I'm not 100% sure it was the Dunglass single malt, i. e. the experimental malt they made in the seventies, together with the peated Dumbuck. Colour: White wine. Nose: Light and very grainy, as expected. Gets quite grassy, dried flowers, caramel, hints of praline. Mouth: Sweetish pear juice, apple
Herbal liquor
Nose:- Some smoky and orangey notes
Here’s what they had to say:1996: Described as having a good depth of flavor
coriander seed and angelica root
True to our winery’s trademark
the son of a boat-builder
Some notes of wood oils and resins
with the same extreme fruitiness plus even more liquorice
The result is a unique expression of German whisky
Nose: Certainly more herbal and kind of mineral/metallic than contemporary Chivas
Intense nose
