so there are a number of these plants in the Cape Cod region

as it can take several years for it to begin blooming

We received this plant via seed from the late Peter Schick of Fort Bragg

The foliage is quite handsome

holding from 2-3 years

I patiently grew Martha Wright for a couple years before I was humbled by her bloom

This nice low spreader has white flowers with pink spots and stripes and blooms in April

Although of unknown origin

and is hardy to zone 5

The soft-pink bells in late summer add to the delicate nature of the plant
