Maple Keepsake / Dresser Box containerConstructed using locally sourced Maple and Oak , using traditional joinery , without mechanical fasteners ( other then the hinges ) . The lid is carved out of a single piece of 1 inch Maple and the bottom is mortised in . Finished with a Natural hard waxed shellac, its solid and durable ; theyll outlive me. Measures 9 1 2 inches long , 5 1 2 inches wide and 5 inches tall I should note that there is a flaw in each of these my shop lacks permanent heat

Painted with a urethane based enamel and finished with a poured epoxy resin top coat

Finished smooth to bring out the grain and built to be used for years

This lovely Walnut & Oak bowl measures 13 inches across at the top and 6 inches deep and crafted out of solid 1/2 & 5/8 inch Walnut and Red Oak
